Originally used by the US military around the world but in recent years has become popular for camping, wilderness and survival.

When ordering a full "box" (12 meals), 12 meals are purchased (12 x 179,-).
Meal Ready to Eat are ready-made and can therefore be eaten cold or heated in water. Each MRE contains 900 to 1250 calories per meal. At least two meals per day are recommended per person for 72 hours.
Shelf life is up to 5 years in 21 degree storage.

CONTENTS PER MRE
Main course, side dish, coffee powder, biscuits / bread, salt / pepper, dessert / dessert, salt, pepper, sugar, wet wipe, napkin and spoon.
NOTE! Heaters are not included in these MREs.
DURABILITY UP TO FIVE YEARS
Because the durability varies greatly depending on the temperature, the MRE has no best-before dates. However, there is a date of manufacture on each package.
The shelf life of Meals Ready-to-Eat depends on the temperature in which they are stored. Cooler temperatures mean longer shelf life while warmer temperatures reduce shelf life.

- 32º Celsius: 2.5 years
- 37º Celsius: 1.5 years
