At the end of World War II, Colt decided to partner with Spanish manufacturer Astra Unceta y Ca to produce a Colt-stamped version of the Astra Cub. Because of the Colt Junior's ability to be hidden, it was used primarily by American and British Special Operations teams and agents, as well as by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). The Colt Junior is the first airsoft gas blowback replica of the gun of the same name. It consists of a metal body engraved with official Colt markings and a handle with screw-on plates.
